Falling 0.002-cents, the national diesel average is now at $3.032 per gallon, following declines of 1.0-cents, 0.07-cents, and 0.004-cent declines, respectively, the previous three weeks. The national diesel average has risen twice in the last 11 weeks.
The national average price per gallon of diesel gasoline fell for the fourth consecutive week, according to data issued this week by the Department of Energy’s Energy Information Administration (EIA).
Falling 0.002-cents, the national diesel average is now at $3.032 per gallon, following declines of 1.0-cents, 0.07-cents, and 0.004-cent declines, respectively, the previous three weeks. The national diesel average has risen twice in the last 11 weeks.
Even with this recent stretch of declines, the weekly diesel average has remained above the $3 per gallon mark for the last 25 weeks.
On an annual basis, this week’s average is down 19.1 cents, just below last week’s 19.2-cent annual spread.
West Texas Intermediate Crude oil is currently trading at $54.38 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
