FedEx Service Alert - FedEx Express Freight

FedEx Express Freight Services Update
All previously paused FedEx Express Freight services have now resumed and Economy Domestic FedEx Express Freight (FedEx 2Day Freight and FedEx 3Day Freight) service is available for pick-up on Monday, February 7. Thank you for your patience and your business as we navigated through both severe winter weather and staffing shortages due to the Omicron variant of COVID-19.

Winter Storm Landon Impacts
Many of you are likely feeling the effects of Winter Storm Landon. The storm has created potentially hazardous operating conditions and the safety of our team members remains our number one priority. Contingency plans are in place, and we are working to provide the best possible service as local conditions allow. We will continue to minimize the impact on service and update the FedEx Service Alerts page with the latest cities, states and Zip Codes affected.

Super Bowl LVI Impacts
For next week, please consider shipments to the Los Angeles metro area during Super Bowl LVI activities. Service to some customers in the area may be impacted from February 5 to February 13 because of government security measures in place. We encourage all customers shipping into the area to check with your recipients to understand their locations relative to the activities. Locations in and around SoFi Stadium as well as in the following ZIP Codes may be impacted:

FedEx Express: Los Angeles, CA metro area – 90014, 90015, 90017, 90045, 90250, 90301, 90302, 90303, 90304, 90305

FedEx Ground: Los Angeles, CA metro area – 90301, 90302, 90303, 90304, 90305

Note that potential service disruptions may not affect FedEx Express, FedEx Ground, FedEx Freight, FedEx Office, etc. the same. This may result in different levels of impact as well as cities, states and ZIP Codes serviced.

Consistent with the provisions of the FedEx Service Guide,  shipments delayed due to winter weather or Super Bowl LVI are not eligible for a refund or credit under the Money Back Guarantee policy.
