FedEx 2023 Rate and Accessorial Increases Effective January 2nd, 2023

FedEx Express and FedEx Ground are raising rates by an average of 6.9% along with accessorial (surcharge) fees by up to 34%.

 Effective Jan. 2, 2023

• There will be changes to shipping surcharges and fees that may apply to your shipment and affect your total shipping rate. View 2023 surcharge and fee changes.
• FedEx will increase the late payment fee to 8% for U.S. FedEx Express and FedEx Ground invoices not paid according to approved payment terms. See the FedEx Service Guide for more information about the late payment fee.
  

Effective Jan. 30, 2023

A Delivery Area Surcharge of $13.25 per package will be applied to domestic package shipments destined to select ZIP codes within the contiguous U.S. that are designated as Remote.

Additional Handling Surcharge for both ground and express due to dimension to zone 2 is going from $15.75 to $18.50, due to weight from $25.25 to $29, and due to packaging from $14.00 to $16.50.

Address Correction Fee is going from $19 to $21 in 2023 for FedEx Ground and Express and Residential Surcharges are all increasing as well. 

Oversize Charges are all going up by $25 -$30. FedEx Home Delivery to zone 7 will not be $200.
